Lindsay Griffiths graduated with a B.A. in English Literature and Spanish Translation from Hunter College, CUNY, where she was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi National  Hispanic Honor Society. It was at Hunter where she met her mentor Adrián Izquierdo who introduced her to Chatos."It was an absolute delight to be a part of the translation of Mercedes's wonderful book", Griffiths says. Lindsay is currently a Doctoral student in the English Department at Princeton University. Her research is focused on African American and Afro-Latinx Literatures of the 19th and 20th centuries. Griffiths also enjoys creative writing, particularly short stories and lyrics.
