Mariana Graciano studied literature and linguistics at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, and received her doctorate from The Graduate Center, CUNY in 2017. Since 2010, she has lived in New York where she completed a master's degree in creative writing at New York University. Her work has appeared in journals in Argentina, the United States, and Spain. Her first book of short stories, La visita (Demipage 2013), earned her the recognition of Talento Fnac. Her work has been included in the anthologies Escribir en Nueva York (Caja Negra, 2014), Disculpe que no me levante (Demipage, 2014), and Estados Hispanos de América (Sudaquia, 2016). The Spanish edition of Passages (Pasajes) was published by Chatos Inhumanos in 2017.
