Sarah Pollack is an associate professor in the department of Latin American Literature and Translation Studies at the College of Staten Island, (CUNY) and the Graduate Center (CUNY). His translations have been published in newspapers such as Brooklyn Rail InTranslation, Bomb, Reunion: The Dallas Review and Gulf Coast, and included in poetry collections Reason Enough (Host Publications) by the Uruguayan poet Ida Vitale, and Eloise (Unicorn Press) by Mexican Silvia Eugenia Castillero. She is co-author together with Tamara Williams of a critical volume on the works of the Italian-Mexican author Fabio Morábito, The trades of the nomad: Fabio Morábito before criticism , published by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
